I have been meaning to do this post for weeks! I am trying to post less on Facebook and document more of Xander’s milestones and just day-to-day shenanigans in this blog.
Xander has been busy since his Birthday, growing and learning new things…
Mom found a new way to get him to concentrate on eating his bottle by letting him hit it with balls while he eats. Dad figured out an even better way by putting videos of the show Super Why on his phone via YouTube!
He has a new lovey that has gotten way more kisses than I ever have!
He grew a lot since last Mother’s Day!
Hit 13 months old and took more pics with Teddy.
Xander likes to watch the wildlife outside on the deck. We get birds at the bird feeders and squirrels after the bird food, and the occasional cat. After Xander saw the cat one day and heard dad calling it Kitty, he now calls all the small animals on the deck “Kitty” which is mostly squirrels.
Xander learned how to use the walker!
At Xander’s 12 month checkup we were told he has 6 teeth trying to come in on top, no wonder he is so ornery some days!
Xander is behind in self feeding, so mom thought she would try putting food (other than Puffs) on his tray for him to test out. It didn’t go very well the first time. Once he figured out it was food he wouldn’t touch them the rest of the time. We have found one thing since that he will feed himself, small pieces of bread!
And Xander still thinks “Cup Head” is funny!
